Emerging Therapies in Advanced Melanoma
Emerging Therapies in Advanced Melanoma is a continuing education supplement to the March 2008 issue of the cancer journal Community Oncology.
The articles in this Community Oncology supplement highlight current and future opportunities for melanoma therapy. The articles describe: 1) current advances in the understanding of melanoma biology and tumor immunology that underpin current therapeutic strategies; 2) preliminary results of the application of novel immunotherapeutic strategies in the treatment of advanced melanoma; and 3) the use of various targeted therapies in patients with metastatic melanoma.
